Renaissance Ambassadors/Renaissance Club
The Renaissance program was founded in Conway, South Carolina, in 1988 to upgrade academic excellence in schools across the country. Borrowing the ideas of incentive and reward used by successful businesses, Renaissance began a movement to showcase the academic achievements of high school. Today, over 12,000 schools across the nation have created a Renaissance Program. Renaissance recognizes the great challenges that face our students as they prepare themselves for the future. Since 1989, Renaissance at Davidson has reinforced the belief held by all staff members that all Davidson students can achieve excellence through a process of reinforcement, recognition, and reward.
