Please be reminded that the Hilliard City School District will be running on a two-hour delayed start on September 21, December 7, January 25, March 7, and April 26. The staff will have the opportunity to participate in job-related training.
Students must report to the building two hours after the regularly scheduled time. Transportation will be provided, with the buses running on a two-hour delay to the minute. If a student’s bus typically arrives to your house at 7:30 a.m., it will arrive at 9:30 a.m. Therefore, because the school’s first bell is typically 7:40 a.m., the first bell will ring at 9:40 a.m. on the delayed start schedule.
Lunch and the end-of-the-day dismissal will occur on the regular schedule. The school day will not be extended, nor will food service be interrupted. Breakfast will not be available on late start days.
